Call Them Regressives

I've had fun for several years now using the word "repug" as shorthand for "repugnant republicans," and it's still doing good service. But Digby has another suggestion:

It's long past time to ignore the word "conservative" (which seems to have become synonymous with "awesome" in many Americans minds) and properly re-brand these people as what they are: regressive.
