I watched this last night and actually cheered like being at a World Series game or something. Olbermann has the incredible talent of nailing his arguments succinctly and perfectly. This is no insincere pundit out for personal attention like Lou Dobbs or Glenn Beck. You could see the indignation and conviction in his presentation every step of the way. Keith Olbermann is a passionate and very, very good and decent man, unlike those pigs on Wall Street!

Perhaps that's why Keith remains on the air, and so popular - he speaks from the heart, and comments on things that matter to him, rather than those matters that might be seen to be popular but unimportant.

Frankly, I'd like to see him just cut loose some night, and call the sons o' bitches what they really are.

But I suppose there is still some modicum of control to be maintained, so perhaps he'll keep it at least that much in his pants.

Still, he's an awfully good commentator on whatever he decides to comment on. Perhaps the best on TV today.

And that is why he's only moderately famous - he speaks too much truth for most people to handle.

And yes, Jack - unless he's one of the world's greatest actors, he is indeed a very good and decent man. Of that, if nothing else, I think we may be certain.

I'd like to see him get rid of the Oddball and Hollywood coverage segments of his show altogether, and replace them with more political info and factual attacks on conservative liars like Coulter, Beck, O'Reilly, Hannity, Malkin, and Limbaugh, exposing their bullshit line by line and lie by lie.

Jack: I tolerate those because I'm sure they are the price he pays General Electric to be able to do the good stuff. It's getting better, though - it's been almost a year since he had to do a "Keeping Tabs" segment.

I wish he'd get rid of those tired Villagers Richard Wolffe, Jonathan Alter, Howard Fineman and Margaret Carlson and go find some fun new people like the fresh faces Rachel has.
