Is Our Children Learning Brainless Racism?

Kentucky's commissioner of education is a commie terrist! He is ordering Kentucky schools to prevent Our Children from hearing the wise advice of Dear Leader George W Bush! How are the Little Ones ever going to learn how to Worship and Obey and Serve Without Question?

Oops, wait - that's not former president Bush they're being prevented from hearing - it's our current president. And unlike the un-democratic, anti-american, personality-cult, authoritarian propaganda spewed by the previous administration, all President Obama is going to say is study hard and stay in school.

But that's too much for the racist mouth-breathers who don't dare let their children within a country mile of reason, facts and truth.

And their brainless hate is too much for the person Kentucky taxpayers pay obviously way too much to ensure those children get quite a bit closer than a country mile to reason, facts and truth.

Page One on the spineless fool pretending to be Kentucky's Commissioner of Education:

Apparently, everyone is afraid of that Barack Obama because he is a half-breed Muslin foreigner. You know the drill.

But what we only glossed over in the round-up was that Kentucky’s new education commissioner caved under pressure. Terry Holliday has, well, see for yourself:

Kentucky Education Commissioner Terry Holliday has knuckled under to parental requests and told school officials that they must provide alternative activities for children of the objectors. This isn’t just sad; it’s outrageous.

Isn’t that just cute? Kentucky not only continues to act ignorantly - especially when it comes to education - but the state’s new ed commish is apparently just a pushover.

But when it comes to exposing egregious wingnut hypocrisy and evil, no one nails it like Glenn Greenwald:

If you search long enough on the Internet, can you find examples of random people or vapid celebrities guilty of excessive Obama worship? Obviously. One can find virtually anything using those methods. But the personalized veneration of George Bush, particularly during his first term, was systematic and engulfing. It was the fuel that drove most of the abuses and transgressions of that era.

Read the whole thing.

And if you missed the original idiocy, here's the Rude Pundit.

Given that I have so much animosity toward Bush and so much respect for people of conscience ... the 'opt-out' doesn't bother me. I would have supported any opt-out if Chimpy/Shrub had ever tried to address the students. But since they are constitutionally protected protests, they are defensible within that narrow application.

What does bother me, though, is the incessant racism that permeates this hue & cry. This is the racism that floods churches from pee-yew to pea-you, galloping from the pulpit like the drumbeat of horses heading for home. Their carnal quagmire camoflaged as religion.

If the opt-outs weren't being orchestrated we wouldn't have objections. Since they are - we do.

Just another nail in the coffins of the religious with hatred in their souls and ignorance in their brains.
