Run Away, Geoff! It's Teh Gheys!
Geoff Davis is terrified of teh gheys. The Kentucky 4th District repug just signed a hysterical letter throwing a temper tantrum over a low-level White House staffer who has no power to implement the non-existent "homosexual agenda."
Does little Jeffie realize that D.C. has probably the third-highest per capita population of gay people in the world, after San Francisco and New York? Does he realize that teh ghey concentration is even higher than that on Capitol Hill? That several of them work on his very staff, in his very office? That they accidentally-on-purpose touch him?
Get out of there Geoff! Resign and come back home to Northern Kentucky, where there are way more homosexuals than you can possibly imagine, but where they have the simple decency to stay in the closet, where you can't see them.

Look - Geoff Davis, like most all repug pols, and sad to say some Dems as well, has NO personal convictions, and only panders to what he has been led to believe is the will of the people (read: will get him the most votes).
Got that? He has NO PERSONAL CONVICTIONS. At all. Ever. One time. He only appears to do what he thinks his constituency wants. He has NO IDEA what his constituency really wants, because he never asks. He simply assumes he already knows, because hey, they elected him, didn't they?
So - resultant from this is the almost absolute certainty that Davis KNOWS there are gays in his sphere of influence, and doesn't care, unless it becomes public.
At which point, he will define homophobia, and we can count on his being just as big an asshole and bigot as possible.
However, BEFORE it becomes public, it is distinctly possible that he's getting blow jobs from one of those smooth young men who work in the outer office. Count on it. In fact, it would give me the greatest glee for him to get caught doing just that. In FACT, I would almost do him myself just to get him in that position.
ALMOST.
But the rest of this is almost certainly true. Only an in-the-closet old fag who has never accepted himself would be this publicly homophobic. Ask any "out" homosexual you know. He'll tell you. Mary.
