Happy 6,013th, World!
A highly-regarded churchman and scholar, James Ussher (1581-1656), was the Archbishop of Armagh, Primate of All Ireland, and Vice-Cancellor of Trinity College in Dublin. Using the bible, Ussher calculated the first day of creation as Sunday, Oct. 23, 4004 B.C.
Using the same method, he also calculated that Adam and Eve were driven from paradise on Monday, November 10, 4004 B.C., and that the ark touched down on Mt. Ararat on Wednesday, May 5, 1491 B.C.

Just 18 days in paradise, huh? Probably couldn't stand the noise from the major construction going in on Sumer, right next door.
