It's Constitution Day: Read the Actual Constitution

You know, the one the teabaggers never heard of.

Interesting. I've read the Constitution and a couple of things I don't see in it are "separation of church and state" and "the right to an abortion." Liberals seem to insist those are in the Constitution but darned if I can find those two phrases.

Words and phrases you don't find in the actual Constitution: god, christianity, bible, church, jesus, moses, ten commandments, corporations, free enterprise, capitalism. Not even implied in other words, unlike the phrases you mention. It does, however, specifically bar any religious test for government service, which tells you everything you need to know about what the founders really thought about religion and government.
