To Protect and To Serve: Murdering Crippled Old Men Edition

From Firedoglake:

- In Columbia, South Carolina, a 70 year-old man was stopped by a police officer for an expired license tag. When the man tried to get his cane as he got out of the vehicle, the officer thought it was a rifle (cause they totally look alike!) and shot the man to death. The officer is now under investigation.
South Carolina? My prediction:  If the old man was white - unlikely, since he was stopped by a cop - the officer gets fired, but snapped up by some other militaristic hellhole, probably in Texas, and  trained on how to target minorities. If the old man was non-white, the officer gets 3 days suspended without pay, which will be quietly restored later.
