Ben Chandler Repeats Repug Lies About Health Care Reform

Since his no vote condemns him to a landslide loss in November, I was going to cut Wire Hanger some slack this morning.

But the cowardly worm is doubling down on the lies.

Another Kentucky Democrat, Rep. Ben Chandler of the 6th District, said he could not back the health care overhaul, saying it imposed too many hardships on his constituents.

jesusfuckingchocolatechristonapogostick.

Name three, you DINO scumbucket. Name ONE way in which this bill harms a single one of your constituents who is not a giant health insurance corporation.

But Chandler said he could not alter his opposition to the bill, which he first voted against in November.

He said in a statement the measure does provide needed reforms like expanding coverage and ending the denial of insurance coverage for pre- existing conditions.

But after talking to constituents and the medical community in Central Kentucky, Chandler said the measure “still does not address the concerns I had about its effect on our seniors, rural hospitals and the overall cost to taxpayers.”

Lies, more lies, and even more motherfucking lies than ever before.

FACTS: Seniors BENEFIT from the closing of the Medicare prescription donut hole. Rural hospitals BENEFIT from more patients having health insurance and being able to pay their hospital bills. And the "cost" of the bill to taxpayers is a massive REDUCTION in the deficit.

Chandler's arguments were similar to those offered by Kentucky Republicans in the House.

Exactly.
