From the Courier:
A civilian employee was killed at the Fort Knox Army post Wednesday, the military said in a news release.
The
victim, whose name was being withheld pending notification of family,
was shot in a parking lot outside the Army Human Resources Command
Headquarters, where he worked.
Fort
Knox Police were called about 5:40 p.m. The victim was taken to Ireland
Army Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Army
investigators are calling the shooting “a personal incident and not a
random act of violence,” Chris Grey, an Army Criminal Investigation
Command spokesman, said in the release.
I'm a First Amendment absolutist, but the "more guns will solve everything" argument needs a hard cap on stupidity.
