AynRandPaul Lies to Black Students About What a Racist He Is

We've long since established that the Tribble-Toupeed One is a motherfucking liar, but to lie like that to people who obviously know you're lying is proof of really breathtaking stupidity.

Charles Pierce:

Oh, c'mon. I mean, really, honky, please.

SNIP
Uh oh.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), a proponent of civil liberties, told a professor on Wednesday that he never opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964. "I've never been against the Civil Rights Act. Ever," he said during a question and answer session at the historically black Howard University in Washington. "This was on tape," countered the questioner."I have been concerned about the ramifications of the Civil Rights Act beyond race...but I've never come out in opposition," Paul clarified.
Please to be explaining, in detail, what "ramifications" the Civil Rights Act of 1964 had "beyond race." Let's go to the videotape, shall we?
"Well, there's 10 - there's 10 different - there's 10 different titles, you know, to the Civil Rights Act, and nine out of 10 deal with public institutions and I'm absolutely in favor of," he told Maddow deep in their 15-minute interview. "One deals with private institutions, and had I been around, I would have tried to modify that."
What modifications would you like to make? Cleaner "Colored Only" bathrooms? Marble "Colored Only" drinking fountains?
Much of the discussion of Aqua Buddha's rise to prominence has focused on his political philosophy, and far too little has been focused on the fact that he's pretty much dumb as a stump.
Seriously, Kentucky: we've sent two of the absolute worst Senators in Senate history to Washington at the same time. History, which already has far too many reasons to shitcan us, will not be kind about this.
