You know, I'm really getting tired of hearing about all these awful things we're doing to the "middle class" and nary a word about the most endangered species of the bunch, that bottom twenty percent... that suddenly invisible fifth quintile... that nobody seems to know the first fricking thing about and about whom nobody displays the slightest curiosity as long as they show up to clean your house or mow your lawn.
