How Much Does Kentucky Hate Our Poor People?

Today we find out who matters more to Governor Steve Beshear: anti-Obamacare hysterics or the citizens of the Commonwealth.

Jessie Halladay at the Courier:

Gov. Steve Beshear is expected to announce Thursday whether Kentucky will expand Medicaid eligibility under President Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act.

Rep. Tom Burch, D-Louisville, chairman of the House Health and Welfare Committee, said he expects Beshear to announce the expansion.

“It’s one of the best things we’ve been able to do here for people to get more health care,” Burch said Wednesday. “Kentucky has one of the highest rates of uninsured people in the whole country. This is significant.”
Burch is of course correct. He's also several orders of magnitude more liberal that Governor Cowardly Waste of Oxygen.

And only the leftiest, commie-est, hippie-est of liberals give a flying fuck about poor people these days. Or rather give a flying fuck about helping poor people. Conservatives care a very great deal about making sure poor people stay that way.

Almost as much as they care about bringing down That Ni**er in The White House.
