The Concrete Help for Kentucky Families That Repugs Plan to Kill

The next time a repug starts babbling about how President Obama is destroying the country, ask it about this:

Kentucky and Indiana would receive billions of dollars for public works, schools, college loans and emergency management agencies under the budget that President Barack Obama proposed Monday.

While plenty of specific projects would be funded — including nerve gas destruction at the Army depot near Richmond — the president's overall focus was on employment.

As part of that strategy, and to help the middle class, the president proposed to extend for another year an income tax credit that would benefit an estimated1.6 million families in Kentucky and 2.4million in Indiana.
